Fly into Athens
We recommend arriving Thursday, September 2, 2027. If you arrive in the evening, consider staying the night in Athens, have dinner with an Acropolis view, then head to Spetses Friday morning.
When to book: 6-12 months before the wedding
Ferry to Spetses
The island of Spetses is 2 hours from Athens. Ferry tickets are $60 round trip and can be purchased online (Blue Star Ferries). We'll send a reminder to book your ferry tickets closer to the wedding.
When to book: 1 month before the wedding
No need for a car
Once you arrive to Athens, you can take an Uber from the airport to the ferry port. Then once you get to the island, there's no need for a car! The most popular way to get around the island is to walk or take a horse-drawn carriage.
